About Us
The Castro's newest restaurant, Hulu Wa China Bistro, is now open at 3970 17th Street, formerly Niji Sushi.Our menu includes flavorful dim sum dishes,and American-Style Chinese food.We have a cozy bistro environment with friendly and easy-going service.
A hidden gem in the Castro (literally tucked behind Chevron gas station) . I’ve been here several times and the food and service is always consistent.
This place is a fantastic find! As a Chinese person myself, I can be pretty critical of Americanized Chinese food, but Hulu Wa impressed me.
This is a great place for lunch! The food is delicious, fast, and relatively affordable. Think homestyle Chinese classics like beef & broccoli, sesame chicken, or kung pow chicken, with an authentic taste.
Delicious food, good portion size, friendly service. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.
